Seattle Pride Hockey Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies in the sport of hockey. Whether you play on the ice or support from the stands, we welcome you to be a part of our vibrant and growing community.
Membership gives you the opportunity to shape the future of our programs, vote in our annual elections, and be recognized as part of a movement that celebrates diversity through sport.
We recognize two paths to membership—Ice Hockey Players and Non-Ice Hockey Participants—each with clear, meaningful ways to get involved.
You qualify for membership if you meet all of the following:
Play
You have participated (played) in at least one (1) league (Seattle Pride Hockey League) or tournament (Seattle Pride Classic, Frozen Pride Classic) within the last calendar year.
Conduct
You are in good standing and adhere to the Participant Conduct Policy.
Residency
You currently reside in Washington State and have a valid Washington address on file.
Non-ice hockey participants—such as volunteers, spectators, and community leaders—may also become official members by meeting all of the following:
Application & Engagement
You submit a membership application (below) and attend/participate in at least three (3) off-ice programs (Pride Current Watch Party or as a volunteer) and/or annual membership meetings.
Conduct
You agree to and adhere to the Participant Conduct Policy.
Residency
You currently reside in Washington State and have a valid Washington address on file.
Nomination
Receive endorsements from any two (2) current board of directors officers.
Ice Hockey Players: Register and play in any one (1) of our on-ice league and/or tournament programs.
Non-Ice Hockey Participants: Submit a membership application below, then attend any off-ice program and/or volunteer at any of our programs on three (3) separate occasions, and then await nomination from any two (2) board of directors officers!
