PARTICIPANT CONDUCT POLICY

Effective Date: July 16, 2025

This Participant Conduct Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all events, programs, leagues and tournaments (each, a “Program”, and, collectively, “Programs”) offered and produced by Seattle Pride Hockey Association, Inc. (“SPHA”). By registering for any Activities through SPHA, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by this Policy.

Fair play and respect are the backbone of any successful recreational sports program. To encourage a positive environment, it is imperative that Participant has respect for other participants, players, coaches, officials, administrators, staff, spectators, volunteers, and the sport of hockey (collectively, “Relevant Persons”).

SPHA may, in its sole discretion, refuse admission to, suspend, eject/remove, or take other disciplinary action against Participant to prevent any and all conduct SPHA deems to be disorderly or inappropriate, including, without limitation, the following conduct:

  • harassment of any form, physical or emotional abuse, threatening, bullying, demeaning, embarrassing, or otherwise harming any other Relevant Persons;
  • using vulgar, foul, abusive, or offensive language;
  • engaging in behavior that diminishes the experience of other Relevant Persons such as engaging in aggressive or dangerous play, excessive body contact, poor sportsmanship, or other forms of abuse of Relevant Persons;
  • failing to comply with any Program-specific rules, terms, or conditions;
  • failing to comply with all applicable facility-specific rules; and
  • honoring any suspension and/or removal imposed by other neighboring leagues and/or associations within the Washington State, whereby such disciplinary actions will be upheld and enforced by SPHA.
  • Participant’s participation in Programs is subject to the rules, policies, and additional terms and conditions available on SPHA’s website, including the Participant Conduct Policy, Privacy Statement, Terms & Conditions, Inclusion in Hockey Statement, and any program-specific policies/rules (i.e., Tournament Rules & Game Formats, League Guidelines & Supplemental Rules, Player Discipline Guidance, etc.) that SPHA may provide to Participant from time to time.

All fees paid by Participant may be non-refundable, including if Participant is denied access to, suspended or ejected from, or otherwise subjected to disciplinary action at any Program.
