Here is the simple answer: if you are a registered tournament participant, you will automatically receive one (1) general admission to the Icebreaker Welcome Reception for yourself. Your general admission cannot be transferred to anyone else (i.e., an unregistered friend or partner/spouse, even if you are unable to attend).

Please invite your +1 guests! All we ask is that you purchase the applicable number of admission(s) for the appropriate age. This ensures we don’t exceed our occupancy capacity.

Want to sit fireside and soak in the beautiful views of Downtown Seattle & Space Needle? You can upgrade your general admission to our Above the Rainbow experience (as well as any guests) which will include priority admission to Altitudes Sky Lounge where Above the Rainbow experience guests have reserved seating AND receive one (1) complimentary  cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage, if desired.

While it is our intent, at this present time, we are unsure if appetizers/snacks will be provided at the Icebreaker Welcome Reception. If you are seeking something while you’re attending, Astra Hotel Seattle offers Otium Grill & Greens where you can dine-in ahead of time or afterwards. The hotel asks that guests not bring to-go orders into the ballroom spaces (regardless of where it’s acquired from).

A cash bar is available to purchase a variety of beverages at the Icebreaker Welcome Reception. If you upgrade to the Above the Rainbow experience for Altitudes Sky Lounge, your experience includes priority access to a reserved rooftop area, and one (1) complimentary cocktail (or any non-alcoholic beverage of your choice). In addition, there is a tapas menu available to purchase from. This experience is only available to those 21+.

While Astra Hotel Seattle itself does not have a parking garage, they do offer valet parking for a cost. You may also utilize any of the neighboring parking garages that offer free parking after 4 PM. Paid street parking is also available (and also becomes free after ~8 PM – pay attention to signage). Overnight parking in the garages is not allowed so plan accordingly if you need a ride home. 

If you are an out of town participant who is staying at our host hotel – the Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle/Northgate – a complimentary bus – compliments of Starline Luxury Coaches – will be available to provide one-way service to and from the Icebreaker Welcome Reception. Assuming all host hotel guests fit on one trip (56 or fewer; we’ll plan this in advance), the bus will only make one trip to and from the reception. If we have more then 56 staying at the hotel, we will provide two scheduled departures. If you miss it on either end, you will need to procure alternative arrangements. If you wish to leave early, prior to the scheduled departure(s), you will need to procure separate transport (Lyft/Uber).

No one is obligated to upgrade their general admission. The purpose of Above the Rainbow experience is to provide priority access to Altitudes Sky Lounge. This rooftop bar experience is incredibly popular with very limited capacity resulting in long wait times and large crowds. By pre-selling Over the Rainbow in advance, we can allocate the needed space for guests in advance of Thursday evening. If you wish not to upgrade, you are certainly welcome to wait in line with hotel & neighboring guests and risk not having a dedicated place to sit or stand with a reasonable view. To the contrary, if you wish to upgrade while at the event, we may be able to offer limited day-of sales – though not guaranteed. (NOTE: Above the Rainbow admissions are nearly sold out! As such, we do not anticipate having any available to purchase at the reception. Grab your ticket now!)
